Jekyll Island - Sunrise on the beach.
OASIS SOUTH moved up the beach on Jekyll Island to the Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center. We will stay in two and three bedroom town houses with full kitchens and living rooms. Classes and other camp activities will be in the luxurious resort ballroom. The resort includes a solar heated pool and martini bar. You can see more information at www.jekyllislandga.com. We have had great reviews on our new location.
Oasis South is the ideal camp to bring along friends and family. The island has lots of activities for non-dancers to do during class time. Special rates for non-dancing roommates are available. Please contact Jean for more information.
Information packets sent by email to registrants about three weeks before the start of camp include a map, suggested packing list, and travel information.
Camp Fee: TBA
Fee for non-dancing roomate: $385 (includes lunch and dinner daily)

Pre-Camp
Teacher Training Intensive: (Additional Price TBA) - to allow us to
get even more out of our time, Cassandra will be holding
a pre-camp session to hone our skills as teachers of this dance.
This session will meet on the Wednesday morning camp begins
from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, with a short lunch break. This
session will be offered to campers first but available to non-campers
as space permits. - Video Critique: $15 - a personal, private, and
gentle critique with Cassandra. Bring a short video of yourself
on DVD or VHS tape, cued up. Limited spots available; sign up on
your registration form.
- ODC T-Shirt: $20 - there are usually extra shirts but we can't guarantee one in your size unless you pre-order. There is also a cost savings by pre-ordering your shirt. Please don’t forget to state size on registration form.
- Camp DVD: Includes demonstration of choreographies as well as the entire Hafla and other camp happenings. You receive a DVD Order form in your camper manual at camp.
- Private percussion class with Nicole: You can sign up at camp for additional classes with Nicole either as a small group or individual. (Group percussion class is included with camp fee.)

Check In/Out:
- Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
- Opening ceremonies begin at 8 p.m.
- We conclude at 1 p.m. on Sunday after an awards brunch.
Flight Info:
The nearest airport is Jacksonville, Florida. The airport is about an hour drive from the island. We will try to arrange shared transport to and from the airport for campers.
