What level of dancer is welcome?

Dancers of all skill levels are welcome at Oasis. Cassandra's teaching technique will improve your dancing abilities, whether you're just starting out or if you've been dancing for many years.

I have special dietary needs. Can these be handled?

Yes. Just email us with your needs, and we will forward them to the kitchen staff who will take care of you.

I don't own a drum/know how to drum. Do I have to take the drumming class?

You are not required to take the drumming class. However, learning the basic rhythms for Middle Eastern music will help you become a better dancer. SuSu is an excellent instructor and will guide all levels of students. In addition, there are often extra percussion instruments available for those who do not have their own.

Can we decorate our rooms?

Of course, you can decorate you room to enhance your dance camp experience. Bring a rug for your bedside. Drape a veil across your window. Just be aware that you cannot use tape, tacks, staples, or any other fasteners that might damage the walls or furniture.
